Showcasing...

"Showcasing" - This term is not new. I heard this last year and I heard it again today... Well, I think the reason why I am writing about this term now is because I actually want to commit to doing it. The action part is the hard thing I guess but if I get to make it a habit then I think it won't be hard anymore... I'll try again to blog - to take photos, to share stories and do other random things here. If someone is actually reading my post, thanks for visiting my page and sorry if you don't get to see much! I hope you'll check my page again, when there is more things to see... Although, don't keep your expectations too high - my english is not that good and my life is not that colorful! Sweet dreams everyone!

I still can't believe that I am a Veluz bride! Dream come true for me!

The first time I met Ms. V, I was awestruck. It's just a quick introduction and a short exchange of hi and hello. The second time I met Ms. V was during my first fitting. Ms. V was fun - really, really, really fun! Her nice ideas are just endless! I was surprised to see the lining of my bridal gown. It did not look like a lining to me at all.  It is a plain but elegant bridal gown that fits my body well! I was surprised to see a waist in the mirror! After many years, I suddenly have my beautiful waist back! Can't wait for my next fitting! A visit to Ms. V's shop is just so relaxing and just plain happiness!!!

Project: WEDDING

Yes, I mentioned in my recent post that this blog will be a documentation of my life outside the wedding preparation. I am sorry but I think I have to make that "my life, including that which is outside the wedding preparation". I have to admit that my day is not complete without thinking about the wedding! I am obsessed about the wedding! It's exciting - the journey and the life after that, which is my marriage to Marris! I will always be grateful to God for blessing me with His best! Marris and I acknowledge that God should be and will always be above and at the center of our marriage!

I don't really have the luxury of time to blog. My work shift is from 1PM to 10PM daily. I would normally sleep the whole morning, go to work and then go home to sleep again.... My weekends are busy too although weekends are more relaxing and fun! Yes, it is not an ideal routine but I can't do much about it. I am hopeful though that my work shift will soon be back to the normal morning shift.

What am I doing here then if I don't have the spare time to blog? Well, my mind tells me that my hands are full but my heart tells me I should give blogging a try. The idea of blogging crossed my mind again when I became active in our company's photography club.


Blogging is a good avenue to showcase my photos. I don't have many photos to share yet but maybe I will have more once I start blogging.
The other reason why blogging interests me is my wedding. I am part of an online community for soon-to-wed couples. In that community I found out about wedsites (wedding websites).  And to contribute to that community I came up with my own wedsite - http://www.mywedding.com/marrisandabby, which features details of our wedding preparation. 


I want to continue documenting my life outside the wedding preparation and my life with my one and only love! So here I am, posting my first blog!
